The following was sent to me by my friend in OK who was a big support for me during treatment and then surgery. I laughed so hard I cried! Hopefully, everybody will get a kick out of this.....

This is from newshound Dave Barry's colonoscopy journal:

I called my friend Andy Sable, a gastroenterologist, to make an appointment for a colonoscopy. A few days later, in his office, Andy showed me a color diagram of the colon, a lengthy organ that appears to go all over the place,… Continue

Well, I love my parents dearly. They've both been a great sourse of support for me thought this avenue of my life. But....I honestly believe they have both lost their minds. For Christmas this year, they decided to take the entire family, kids, grandkids, kids' extended family members and such on an Alaskan cruise. Having lived in FL for so long, we'd been on several cruises and had a great time. When Tim and I were married, we even invited my family and the wedding party to join us on our… Continue

Hi Jennifer.  sorry i haven't been on top of responding to messages from this site.  As I'm sure you know, we have challenges that make it difficult.  Lex starts radiation and chemo today.  she has a T3n1b tumor about 4 centimeters into her rectum.  Everyone tells us that no two people are the same when it comes to tolerating the treatment, but we are hopeful we'll be lucky and she won't have too much discomfort. We're in "wait and see" mode so not much to say at this point.  Thanks again for the "Friend" addition.  Very much appreciated.

Thanks so much for the nice comment-I miss Susie so much, and it doesn't seem to lessen. I miss her more every day.Susie was & still is my little girl, altho she really was a beautiful young woman. I appreciate your prayers & I will try to get back to checking the site.
How are you doing-I would like to hear from you.

hey there its tammy sanders and just read your reply on the humor topic and we have no choice but make jokes and laugh about this damn blow up bag. i wake up in the morning and i can float in the ocean with this bag it reminds me of when you go buy a goldfish they put them in that plastic bag with the water and the rest is air. and dont go stand in line with alot of people and your stoma wants to start making music and you have to hold your hand over your hole to calm it down. or dont be around others in a line and your bag gets a little opening on the side and some air comes out boy that really stinks and people look and see who it was lol! boy i laughed so hard one day that happened to me that was so funny. i had to leave. so we have to laugh instead of being ashamed.
