Random Pains

Posted on December 18, 2010 at 8:45am 4 Comments

How long can one expect to get random pains after a hemicolectomy?  Not excruciating, but slightly painful and always seems to be in one of two places.  I also notice if I have to scrunch over like sitting and leaning over for a while, my innards seem tender.  It's only been six months, but how long will this be?

Polyp

Posted on November 25, 2010 at 1:40pm 4 Comments

Concern or not?

I got my 6 month colonoscopy Friday and they found a 3 cm polyp and removed it. Is it odd to have a polyp grow in 6 months? (My first colonoscopy was 6 months ago when they found the tumor, then 5 months ago they removed the first section of my colon.)

Doctor didn't say much, well what I remember of it. Next time, full anesthesia he says, I did not do well with their normal drugs...I guess it takes 2 times to figure that one out.

if you get stuck and just want to get er done, i'll give you the answers in the chatroom next time you're on or Wed night :)  this is NO big deal - we just want you familiar with the website.
