About Me:
I am 55 years old, was hospitalized twice recently for congestive heart failure, had colon surgery on May 7th and was told on May 10th that the cancer spread. I am diagnosed as stage III B, I am going on June 11th for a port and start chemo on June 16th. I am happily married and my spouse Joann was recently laid off so its been very hard on us. I am scared because the doctor said I am a high risk because of my heart. We just moved out here less than 2 years ago, we were originally from NJ. We have a daughter here but everyone else is in NJ.

Hi Louis,
Welcome. Wow you are fighting to tough things at once! The port is definitely the way to go. I've had one put in twice. I think my pathology was the same as your staging. My thoughts will be with both you and your wife.
