hello i just joined crc.i am 34 yrs old and my brother in law danny was diagnosed in may 2009 at age 39 years old with colon cancer.when they did the cat scan they found it also in his right lung and his liver.he started chemo immediately and this family just is beside themselves(words i cant even describe).we all felt he should switch doctors so he did.this doctor just did a pet scan 2 days ago and we got more bad news.the beast is in both lungs,his spine,pelvic area,and his bones..why i keep asking why?also my aunt that helped my mother to raise 3 kids found out in august 2009 that she has breast cancer.she is having her masectomy in feb 2010.then i took my mom to the hospital for something and it came out that they found a large cancerous tumor in her bladder.they removed it immediately.she went back for a recheck and it had only been not even a full month since the tumor was removed and the doctor already found another tumor the size of a nickel frowing in the same spot.i just feel helpless,confused,scared,mad,every feeling anyone can think of.my aunts and my moms are curalble and treatable.but my pride and joy dannys is not.it is treatable only.this man is a fighter and he trys so hard to stay strong,but i cant imagine what is going through his mind.i am looking for friends and any type of info that can help danny at stage 4.this man is only 39 darn it and this just goes to show everyone needs to have a colonoscopy.i watched your video and i am sorry.but i know you hae heard that so so much.there are no words that can make this better for you.but i can say that i hope you send me a friend request so that we can be friends.i will be waiting for your friiend request.i am not sure of how to do alot on here as i said i am a newbie.so any help from anyone will be greatly appreciated.god bless you and your family..trina oliver clarksville,indiana

Hi Ronnie, I just read your full profile for the first time. God Bless you, you sound like an angel. I too have stage IV, am in treatment AGAIN and Im having a harder time then previously. Dont know how you could of done a Year! My cancer spread to my ovaries, which were removed etc as my profile says. The info(video)on prevention is good. I wish I had the equipment and knowledge to do something similar. Anyway me cancer was diagnosed at 46 yrs old, so I wouldnt of had a colonoscopy,dont know how i feel about that, except I remember having some slight symptoms that I thought nothing of. Could of. should of, would of, etc. I hope when you read this your doing well, as good as possible and Im very pleased to get to communicate with you, you all. Love Maureen
